“Mind Interrupted”-Experiencing Technical Difficulties: Back Cover Summary

“Mind Interrupted”-Experiencing Technical Difficulties will become your personal manual and will instruct you to move, apply and pay attention to your thoughts, your mind and your life. There is no doubt that God will always lead, direct and protect you; however, YOUR foot steps must be ordered at all times. Tawana Williams’ life was ordered by God from birth on May 23, 1963 as she was blessed to be born without arms. Throughout the years she’s had so many obstacles in her way and beat the odds over and over again.  As a nationally known Motivational Speaker, Author, TV Personality, Award Winner, Vocalist, Artist, Les Brown Platinum Speaker, Mentor and CEO; however, nothing could’ve prepared Tawana for her next experience. For many years, she has been the master of her thoughts and her life; she’s helped thousands if not millions to move into their own greatness. Tawana has always been the captain of her ship (her mind) and the keeper of her own thoughts. Life knocked on her door of challenges once again and this time, it exploded. It was November 27, 2011 she was confused and discombobulated in her mind; there were so many interruptions, it was crazy, out of order and out of her character. Tawana Williams didn’t know her name, social security number, date of birth or her husband Toby.

Two days prior, there was a one sided altercation that tipped the scales by Tawana’s baby sister; it got ugly, violent and physical. Tawana was always positive, persistent and powerful in her life, she’s been an optimist; thinking back, it was probably a matter of time before she was faced with another challenge. We know that The Enemy goes to and fro seeking whom he may devour, his only purpose is to kill, steal and destroy and God said “Have you considered my servant Tawana.” God knowing that Tawana was so focused and totally committed to serve, she wouldn’t back down and she would face it head on. If you know Tawana Williams, she loves a good fight because she’s been fighting all of her life.

“There’s no victory without a battle; so fight for your life.”-Tawana Williams

At that time in her life Tawana had seven men-tees that she was accountable for on a weekly basis and because her Mind was Interrupted with chaos and confusion, they too experienced those same feelings. Have you ever had a Domino Effect; where the first square fell, then everything after that fell too? I know you have. At the time, her men-tees were experiencing their own successes and greatness as up and coming Speakers, Authors and Leaders and on November 27, 2011 it stopped them too, as Tawana’s Mind was Interrupted because she had a stroke…

“Life never knows your physical address, it just continues to knock at your door; especially when you least expect it.”-Tawana Williams
